　 　On December 16, a high-level symposium themed "New impetus for the comprehensive revitalization of Northeast China: Made in China 2025 and Industry 4.0 in Germany" was grandly held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province. The symposium was jointly hosted by Xinhua News Agency, Shenyang Municipal Internet Information Office, and the Management Committee of Sino-German (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, and jointly undertaken by Brilliance Auto Group, SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd., Shenyang Tourism Group, Shenyang Puqi Industrial Technology Group, Zhenghe Island Liaoning Island Neighbor Institution, World Innovation Forum Organizing Committee, and Xinhua News Agency Liaoning Branch. 　　With the implementation of a new round of revitalization strategies for Northeast China, in Liaoning, an old industrial base known for its equipment manufacturing industry, the Liaoning Provincial Committee and Provincial Government are planning for the future development of the equipment manufacturing industry, striving to make Liaoning a pilot area for the implementation of "Made in China 2025".

　 　"As an important national base for equipment manufacturing and a national comprehensive revitalization reform experimental zone, Shenyang is currently implementing a three-year action plan for intelligent upgrading of manufacturing in accordance with the requirements of the Made in China 2025 strategy, promoting the transformation of traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. Shenyang is planning and constructing the Sino-German Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park with German concepts, standards, and technologies, creating a demonstration benchmark for cooperation with Germany." Wang Xiaolin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shenyang Municipal Government, said in his speech, "At the end of 2015, the state officially proposed the Sino-German Industrial Park. This major national strategy carries the important mission of effectively connecting Made in China 2025 with Industry 4.0 in Germany, and shoulders the dual responsibility of Shenyang's new industrialization reform and the upgrading of traditional industries."

　 　It is noteworthy that the Sino-German Industrial Park, together with Zhenghe Island, SIASUN Group, Shenyang Tourism Group, and Puqi Group, jointly initiated the establishment of the "Shenyang Sino-German Zhenghe Smart Industry Development Mother Fund", integrating high-quality resources to build the "Sino-German Zhenghe Smart Town" and related industry research, development, and investment. Initiated by the Sino-German (Shenyang) High-end Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd., Brilliance Auto Group Holdings Co., Ltd., Zhenghe Island Liaoning Island Neighbor Institution, Shenyang Puqi Industrial Technology Group, and Xinhua News Agency, the Sino-German Innovation Institute aims to jointly build a professional and high-level research platform.
