The media conference of the new pine robot team of the Winter Olympics was grandly held
On the afternoon of the 26th, a media meeting for the Siasun Mobile Robot team involved in the "Beijing Eight Minutes" segment of the Winter Olympics was held at Siasun Wisdom Park. More than 40 representatives from central and local media attended. Zhang Lei, President of the Mobile Robot BG, and representatives from the Winter Olympics performance team, jointly revealed the story behind the success of the Winter Olympics performance.

Playing away from home, what we need to conquer is not just technology.

From last October to this New Year's Day, the team has been training in the Changping District of Beijing for nearly two months. This intensive training allowed the team to adapt to local conditions quickly after arriving in South Korea. The technical team arrived in Pyeongchang, South Korea on February 11th to begin environmental setup and measurement work. However, due to unfavorable weather in Pyeongchang and the Korean side's compressed rehearsal schedule, the team only successfully rehearsed twice on the 15th. These two successful rehearsals strengthened the team's confidence in achieving its goals.
The director team had considered abandoning the robot performance plan.

Due to a development cycle of less than a month, the mobile robots that initially arrived in Beijing for rehearsals experienced various unexpected problems. After several failed rehearsals, the director team considered a temporary alternative plan of using manually pushed "ice screens". However, the Siasun robot team never gave up on its mission—actively cooperating with rehearsals while upgrading software and hardware systems. Working overtime until 2 or 3 a.m. was commonplace. It was this dedication and persistence that increased the success rate of the performance from an initial 30% to 100%. Before the closing ceremony performance, the director team commented to all the main creators, "We are not worried about the robots now, we are more worried about the people."
International Olympic Committee: Whose robots are these?

As time went on, the cooperation between the robots and the dancers became increasingly smooth. To meet the director's constantly evolving creative ideas, the team improved the robots' algorithms, effectively ensuring the perfect coordination between the robots, the dancers, and the stage setting. When relevant personnel from the International Olympic Committee watched the performance sample sent by the program team, they excitedly stood up and applauded, asking director Zhang Yimou where the equipment was produced. Director Zhang proudly replied, "This was developed by our Chinese people."

When a reporter asked whether the success of this performance meant that Siasun would focus more on the civilian market, Siasun's technical director, Xu Fang, replied: "While improving and leading the industrial field, Siasun has always paid attention to the expansion and application of robot technology in the civilian field. The mobile robots in the Winter Olympics performance are representative of such products." "In addition, Siasun's service robots have made breakthroughs in public areas and home companionship. Next, more robots will enter the public's field of vision."
