Hangzhou Xin Song's achievements won the second prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award
On April 11, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology officially announced the "2017 Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Award winning projects". Among them, the achievement of "Research and Application of Distributed Cooperative Control System for Multi-Robot Intelligent Body", jointly completed by Hangzhou SIASUN Robot & Automation Co., Ltd., Zhejiang University, and Zhejiang Zhengte Co., Ltd., won the "Second Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award."
Supported by the National 863 Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Zhejiang Provincial Key Science and Technology Program, and the Hangzhou Municipal Major Science and Technology Research Project, this research achievement focuses on tackling the technical difficulties of networked and distributed cooperative control of robot intelligent bodies. It has pioneered the development in China of collaborative robot systems such as dual-arm collaborative welding robots, flexible assembly lines with asynchronous motion synchronization, and assembly AGVs. It has also developed heterogeneous flexible assembly production lines for various products including auto parts, leisure goods, and home appliances, involving multiple robots and automated equipment. These systems have been successfully applied and promoted in areas such as welding under time-varying multi-constraint environments and complex processes, multi-mobile assembly and multi-robot warehousing operations in complex unstructured environments. This has played a significant role in promoting the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing through "machine replacement".
