The strong get stronger: New Song AGV market share exceeds 8000 units
Since 1991, when China's first domestically developed AGV was put into application in the automotive industry, Siasun AGV has maintained its leading position among domestic AGV manufacturers for 27 years. According to statistics, by 2017, Siasun AGV had a market share of over 8,000 units, with over 4,000 units in the automotive industry, making it the undisputed industry leader.
Siasun AGV: Born from Mission and Responsibility
1991 was a milestone year for China's AGV industry. Affected by the events of 1989, a major world power imposed sanctions on China. Shenyang Jinbei Automotive Company, one of China's largest automakers at the time, had ordered equipment from a foreign company for its production line. Due to certain non-market factors, the foreign company ceased supply. Therefore, Jinbei's leadership sought a domestically developed product. After thorough investigations of domestic AGV research institutions and universities, they decided to entrust the research and development task to the Shenyang Institute of Automation [1]. Jinbei invested 2.05 million yuan in R&D funding, which was the largest horizontal project fund for the Shenyang Institute of Automation at the time.
At that time, Wang Hongyu, Senior Vice President of Siasun, served as the core R&D personnel for the project. After a year and a half, China's first domestically developed AGV was put into operation, receiving positive feedback from Jinbei. This marked the beginning of the product development process for AGVs in China, representing a crucial step in transitioning AGVs from the laboratory to the production line.

Siasun AGV Promotes Rapid Development of the Automotive Industry
In 2007, Siasun's independently developed AGV system was exported to General Motors' Mexican plant, supporting General Motors' global factories. This marked the entry of AGV products into the international market, breaking the previous pattern of only importing and not exporting mobile robots. It also involved an upgrade to the distributed controller. Subsequently, world-renowned automakers such as BMW, Nissan, Ford, Jaguar, and Land Rover adopted Siasun AGV products. Siasun AGV's market share in the automotive industry is far ahead of the competition, providing further support for Siasun's expansion into overseas markets.

"Siasun AGV was first applied in the automotive industry, particularly in automotive chassis assembly, because the automotive industry has extremely strict requirements for the reliability and stability of AGVs. The most complex and demanding applications have indirectly enhanced the technological advantages of Siasun's products." Wang Hongyu, Senior Vice President of Siasun, once stated. "Siasun AGV has always emphasized independent innovation and attaches importance to core technology R&D, adopting a development model that combines R&D and application, and developing both domestic and international markets simultaneously. It has established a good reputation in the industry and stood out in market competition."
Siasun Mobile Robots Explore New Industry Applications
As China's largest robotics company, Siasun has always shouldered the responsibility of an industry leader. Mobile robots are one of Siasun's most internationally competitive products and were among the company's first robotic products to be exported. In the 18 years since its establishment, Siasun's mobile robot products have covered manufacturing, intelligent logistics, services, and special applications, successfully applied in over 20 industries related to national economy and people's livelihood, including pharmaceuticals, construction materials, water conservancy and hydropower, transportation, information industry, machinery and electromechanical, light industry and food, and packaging. This provides strong technical support and driving force for the transformation and upgrading of various important fields and industries, effectively promoting the reform of the modernized economic system.
China's path to becoming a strong manufacturing nation requires more agile and flexible factories. Because mobile robots can move and operate autonomously within a spatial range, intelligent mobile robots not only play a major role in the logistics field but also become the "main force" of future factories. Remaining strong, Siasun mobile robots, after nearly 30 years of innovative development, are leading intelligent manufacturing with an energetic posture.
Siasun Robots: China's Pride

Siasun Mobile Robots Undertake National Responsibilities in the PyeongChang Winter Olympics Closing Ceremony
Siasun mobile robots' perfect performance at the Winter Olympics amazed the world. Qu Daokui, President of Siasun, said in an interview with the media: "Through this large platform of the Winter Olympics, Siasun showcased to the world the significant achievements China has made in robotics and artificial intelligence, and also demonstrated the strength and height of China's high-tech capabilities to the world. Siasun adheres to its mission and will continue to make new and greater contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation."
At the recently concluded German Munich Robot Exhibition, the robot star—Siasun's mobile robot that dazzled the world with its performance in the "Beijing Eight Minutes" segment of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics closing ceremony—although not physically present at the exhibition, unexpectedly received attention from customers across various industries worldwide. The "Beijing Eight Minutes" performance video played at the exhibition attracted many viewers. World-renowned companies such as Procter & Gamble, Siemens, and Valeo actively inquired about Siasun's mobile robot products, actively establishing contact with Siasun, and expressing their desire for a deeper understanding of mobile robots. Since breaking the foreign monopoly in 1991 and achieving the export of domestically produced robots, Siasun mobile robots have firmly occupied the market and gained worldwide recognition after 27 years of cultivation and exploration.
The world is at the intersection of a new technological revolution and an industrial revolution. Innovation is driving economic and social development with unprecedented force. With the continuous integration of information technology and industrialization, intelligent industries represented by robotics technology are booming, becoming an important symbol of technological innovation in the current era. Chinese robotics companies, represented by Siasun, must seize the opportunity of technological innovation, seize the commanding heights of R&D in key areas of robotics globally, take the initiative in global high-tech competition, and write a victorious chapter for a new era of national strength.
