PSA Singapore Port Group, as the world's second-largest port operator, operates the world's largest transshipment hub—Singapore Port. As early as 2017, Siasun reached a cooperation agreement with PSA Singapore Port Group to participate in PSA's port mobile robot project. Within a very short time, Siasun completed the research and development design of the port mobile robot. After rigorous performance testing and review by PSA Singapore Port Group, Siasun became the only Chinese company among the three winning bidders. This marks the official entry of Siasun's outdoor heavy-duty mobile robot into the international advanced level.

During the epidemic, Siasun employees worked together to successfully implement the project by implementing a "flexible work system" work plan, overcoming various difficulties caused by the epidemic, and successfully completing the second-generation port mobile robot project.

Recently, two brand-new second-generation port mobile robots have completed final debugging and inspection and are ready to be disassembled, packaged, and shipped to Singapore. This also signifies that Siasun's second-generation port mobile robots will once again be deployed in Singapore Port, contributing Siasun's strength to the intelligence and automation of Singapore Port.

Through industrial design combined with bionics and reference to the actual application conditions of vehicles, the appearance of the second-generation port mobile robot has been redesigned. The research and development design of the second-generation port mobile robot focuses on productization, modularization, economy, maintainability and system integrity etc. Regardless of functionality, vehicle weight, and functional unit layout etc., they have all been re-optimized and upgraded. To facilitate the mass production design of the product, R&D personnel analyzed the structural and assembly process of the entire vehicle, making the overall vehicle layout more reasonable, improving the stability of the entire vehicle, and thus shortening the vehicle production cycle.
