Siasun showcased six major products at CIROS 2018 Robot Show
On July 4th, the curtain rose on CIROS 2018, the 7th China International Robot Show, held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center. Siasun showcased six products, including a snake-arm robot, a home robot, a compound robot, and an item transport robot, embarking on a journey of robotic exploration.

After 18 years of development, Siasun has produced a large number of major scientific research achievements with internationally leading levels in the field of robotics, and has the ability to innovate in robot technology across the entire chain. The products exhibited this time include cutting-edge products and applications such as special robots, industrial robots, and service robots, with Siasun once again leading industry innovation and application.
Qu Daokui, President of Siasun and Chairman of the China Robot Industry Alliance, accompanied the alliance leaders in inspecting the Siasun booth.

New Snake-Arm Robot Launched
Unlike the working methods of traditional discrete joint robots, the snake-arm robot can operate normally in extremely harsh environments. This product has 12 joints and 24 degrees of freedom. Using the end-following control method, it can smoothly and flexibly avoid obstacles. It also supports remote control operation of the robot. These superior performances fully meet the industry applications of robots in nuclear inspection and repair, aerospace assembly, and narrow-space exploration.

Item Transport Robot Makes its Debut
The item transport robot is an intelligent robot developed for modern usage environments. It has functions such as autonomous walking, autonomous obstacle avoidance, fall prevention, autonomous voice prompts, and autonomous charging. Its multi-carrier design is suitable for multiple occasions and uses in stations, campuses, hospitals, logistics, airports, hotels, and shopping malls.

Platform-type Service Robot
Siasun's platform-type service robot integrates all the industry's top technologies, with functions such as voice recognition, facial recognition, voice commands, remote updates, remote video conferencing, video live streaming, multimedia playback, autonomous walking, autonomous charging, one-button calling, remote consultation, file management, course on-demand, and cloud services.

Collaborative Robot Innovation Applications
SCR5 Collaborative Robot PCB Board Handling Application
The SCR5 collaborative robot is equipped with a camera, a laser sensor, and a pneumatic gripping system at the end. It converts data into robot movement trajectories, guiding the robot to the correct position to take photos, and automatically reads the QR code to obtain material direction data, guiding the robot to grasp and place materials.

SCR3 Collaborative Robot Gear Assembly Application
The robot's end is equipped with a camera and a six-dimensional force sensor. The camera uses visual algorithms to identify the material's position to obtain the material coordinates, which are converted into robot grasping coordinates through hand-eye calibration technology, guiding the robot to grasp the material; the force sensor can achieve real-time force monitoring, adjusting the end position based on the size of the feedback force to install the gear.
Meanwhile, the "Golden Finger Award 2018 China International Robot Annual Selection" was grandly held on the 3rd, with Siasun winning three major awards, including "Influential Figure" and "Innovative Product," based on its absolute industry advantage. Siasun will continue to maintain its innovative R&D strength and market development capabilities, opening a new chapter for the Chinese robot market.

At the International Federation of Robotics China Robot Industry Alliance CEO Roundtable held on July 4th, Qu Daokui, President of Siasun, conducted an in-depth analysis of the future development direction and trends of robots. He pointed out that collaborative robots and special robots have huge development potential, and the demand market for elderly care, medical, and service robots will also show rapid growth. The robot industry should innovate more broadly. Artificial intelligence, robotics, and IT fields should also extend outwards based on their own technologies, forming an industrial ecosystem that can interact and integrate, achieving more effective technological integration to meet greater needs. Robots will affect the production and lives of everyone in the future. Wang Jintao, Siasun's Vice President and President of the Industrial Robot BG, participated in the concurrently held Intelligent Integration Forum and delivered a keynote report.
