There's more than just Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in the "sewer" - robots?
Four highly skilled ninja turtles live in the underground pipes of a New York City street...
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, a classic cartoon for the 80s generation, continues to this day. But when I watched it as a child, I always wondered: "Why are the sewers where the superheroes live so spacious? Aren't there supposed to be water in sewers?"
Growing up with this question, I was fortunate enough to witness the construction of Shenyang's first underground integrated pipe gallery, finally solving my childhood mystery. Now Shenyang also has spacious "sewers" like those in the cartoon. Although there are no "ninja turtles" living inside, I did find a "robot" in the "sewer"...

It turns out that these spacious "sewers" are not just for water. They are actually tunnels built underground in the city, integrating various engineering pipelines such as electricity, communications, gas, heating, and water supply. Siasun robots participated in the construction of the electrical engineering, drainage and fire protection engineering, monitoring and alarm engineering, and ventilation engineering of Shenyang's first integrated pipe gallery, the "North-South Rapid Road Integrated Pipe Gallery Project." The project commissioning is nearing completion.

During a site visit, I encountered Siasun engineers testing the "pipe gallery inspection robot." This robot can operate 24/7 and is suitable for hazardous environments with high concentrations of harmful gases and low visibility. It not only reduces the dangers and burden of manual inspection but also improves the reliability of detection, avoiding omissions and errors that can occur during manual inspection. Advanced visual recognition technology can collect and store data from various instruments and identify abnormal conditions within the pipe gallery. The sensors on the robot can perform real-time checks and issue alarms for the on-site environment.
The application of Siasun's inspection robot in Shenyang's integrated pipe gallery is at the leading level in domestic pipe gallery engineering technology and serves as a demonstration for similar projects. It is a source of pride for the people of Shenyang.
In the future, more integrated pipe galleries will be built to bring convenience to people's lives. Siasun's inspection robots will also be widely used in integrated pipe galleries, subways, high-speed railways, power, and petroleum industries, becoming "superheroes" like the "ninja turtles" protecting people's lives and property.
Finally, the "superheroes—the patrol alliance" make their collective appearance!
