The structural topping-out of the SIASUN investment project in Suzhou Future Science and Technology City marks a new milestone.
On October 23, 2019, good news came from the front line. The construction of the New Song Investment Suzhou Future Science and Technology City project was successfully topped out, setting a new milestone in project construction.
The first phase of New Song Investment Suzhou Future Science and Technology City covers more than 200 mu and is located east of Fangqiao Road and south of Chunxi Road in Suzhou Xiangcheng Economic Development Zone. After the completion of the planning, the New Song Investment Suzhou team communicated with the local government and actively prepared the necessary materials for land supply. After a series of approvals and land auction procedures, the New Song Investment Suzhou Future Science and Technology City project successfully obtained the land real estate right certificate on March 13.
After the land selection and planning permission, the Suzhou project team quickly launched the application for construction permits. With the guidance and cooperation of all parties, the Phase I (2/3/4 plots) of the Suzhou Future Science and Technology City Industrial Base project completed the approval of the construction permit in an unprecedented speed of one week. The construction permit was obtained on July 12.
Next came the actual project construction. During the zero-construction phase, the project encountered Typhoon "Lekima." The Suzhou project team immediately launched a special typhoon prevention plan and worked with the general contractor to resist "Lekima." First, they conducted typhoon prevention checks on the site and living areas, reinforced the activity board houses in the worker dormitory area, checked the temporary power and drainage facilities in the living area, and evacuated personnel from the unqualified dormitory areas; then they reinforced the project department office and gatehouse activity board houses, added drainage pumps and ditches in the project foundation pit, and reinforced the foundation pit slopes. After the typhoon, personnel were immediately organized to check and drain water from the project site, office area, and living area, enabling the project to resume production immediately.
To ensure project quality, the Suzhou project team required the general contractor and the supervision unit to strictly implement the three-inspection system. For each column and each wall, the flatness and verticality were measured in full after the formwork was completed. The flatness and verticality deviation of the wall was required to be less than 8mm, and the verticality deviation of the column was less than 5mm. After the formwork was removed, the appearance quality of the walls and columns was checked immediately to ensure compliance with the specifications. The project construction situation has been unanimously affirmed by the leaders of the management committee and the local specialized departments.
Now that the project construction has entered the topping-out phase, establishing a new milestone, the subsequent New Song Investment Suzhou Future Science and Technology City will gradually enter the operation and development phase. It is believed that with the efforts of New Song Investment itself and the care and support of all parties, it will grow and develop in Suzhou, contributing its own strength to promoting the development of local intelligent manufacturing industries and promoting the upgrading of local industries.
